New York, NY – March 6, 2025 – Brag Wear Collection, a groundbreaking exhibition by artist and designer Marie Webb, is set to open at ZAZ10TS Gallery in Times Square, NYC. This immersive showcase blurs the lines between fashion and fine art, celebrating self-expression, inclusivity, and empowerment through wearable sculptures.
A Bold Intersection of Art and Fashion
After debuting at New York Fashion Week 2024, Brag Wear made waves with its avant-garde designs inspired by drag performance, superheroes, and pop culture. The collection features voluminous skirts, structured tops, and intricate headpieces, each serving as a statement of individuality and radical self-expression.
The ZAZ10TS exhibition will present Webb’s entire collection, alongside original design sketches and runway videos, offering visitors an intimate look into her creative process.
Redefining Fashion Through Inclusivity
Marie Webb, a Halifax-based textile artist and founder of Lemonade Stand Designs, is an advocate for inclusive fashion. As a designer from the Down syndrome community, she challenges conventional fashion norms, proving that creativity has no boundaries. Her work is characterized by bold colors, expressive patterns, and intricate hand-drawn textiles, bridging the gap between fine art and wearable design.
A Collaborative Masterpiece
Brag Wear Collection was developed during Webb’s artist-in-residence tenure at NSCAD University’s Sow to Sew program. With the mentorship of Assistant Professor Leesa Hamilton, NSCAD fashion students helped bring Webb’s visionary designs to life, creating sculptural garments that redefine the role of fashion in contemporary art.
Following its NYFW debut, Brag Wear was showcased at Anna Leonowens Gallery in Halifax, Canada, before arriving at ZAZ10TS Gallery, a venue renowned for integrating contemporary art into New York’s urban landscape.

About Marie Webb
Marie Webb is a Halifax-based artist, textile designer, and fashion innovator known for her bold, expressive, and inclusive wearable art. As the founder of Lemonade Stand Designs, she merges drawing, painting, and textile design to create vibrant, imaginative compositions that redefine fashion as art. Her intuitive creative process incorporates techniques such as silk screening, block printing, and felting, bringing playfulness and depth to her work.
A recipient of multiple grants, she completed the Sow to Sew Artist Residency at NSCAD University, leading a team to develop her Brag Wear Collection, which debuted at New York Fashion Week 2024. Her work, showcased in galleries and major fashion events, challenges industry norms by advocating for disability representation, body positivity, and artistic freedom. She is currently working on a collection for Milan Fashion Week.
